Earth is Our Home
A Year-Round Outdoor Learning Community

  • Fall, winter and spring--outdoors in all weather!

  • Ecology and nature connection; biology and botany; ancestral skills; handcraft; farming; foraging and food processing; awareness and games, nature journals and observation practices.

  • Using outdoor challenges to explore what it means to be respectful, responsible, compassionate humans.

  • Designed for children ages 7-12 with flexibility on either side

  • Every other Wednesday, 9:30 am - 2:30 pm at the MLLS homestead campus

  • Sliding scale fee, $45-75 per child per day​​

Earth Is Our Home Scholarship

Financial accessibility of our programs is extremely important to us at Maine Local Living School. We want your kid(s) to be able to participate regardless of your family's financial situation. We are especially committed to serving youth who have few opportunities to experience nature-based learning and local living rooted in reciprocity.

 

Thanks to an anonymous donor we are able to offer a $1000 scholarship fund for Earth Is Our Home.  If you are in need of financial support for your kid(s) to participate, please fill out the form below.  We will distribute this scholarship between as many families as we can. ​
